Lenovo launches ThinkVision S25-4e with 144 Hz refresh at budget price

Ana sayfa / Computers

Lenovo has quietly rolled out a new ThinkVision monitor in China, and it’s turning heads not for flashy specs, but for how much it offers at a low price. The ThinkVision S25-4e is a refreshed 24.5-inch IPS panel built for smooth gameplay and solid productivity, all wrapped in an affordable package.

The new S25-4e keeps the same screen size as its predecessor, the S25e-30, but bumps up the key specs. Most notably, it now features a 144 Hz refresh rate making it ideal for casual gaming or anyone who prefers fluid motion during daily tasks. The Full HD resolution holds steady at 1920×1080, and the 4 ms response time keeps ghosting to a minimum.

Color accuracy hasn’t been overlooked either. Lenovo claims the monitor covers 99% of the sRGB color space, with a brightness rating of 250 nits and a 1500:1 contrast ratio. That should make whites pop and blacks look satisfyingly deep, even if it’s not a high-end HDR panel.

Global RAM shortage sparks interest in DIY DDR5 memory sticks

With DDR5 prices soaring, modders are exploring DIY RAM builds, but current costs remain close to retail pricing.

Designed with extended use in mind, the ThinkVision S25-4e includes global DC dimming and multiple eye-care features to reduce fatigue. Whether you’re gaming, working, or both, the panel is built for comfort during long sessions.

Connectivity is limited but functional. You get one HDMI 1.4 port and one VGA input basic, but enough for most budget setups. Lenovo also includes the signature red joystick for quick menu navigation and VESA support for flexible mounting.

Here’s a quick look at the key specs:

Priced at just CNY 610 (~$87 USD), the S25-4e is surprisingly affordable for a 144 Hz IPS display. There’s no official word on a global launch yet, but given that its predecessor made it to international markets, this model could follow.

For now, it’s a China-only release. But if it heads west, the Lenovo ThinkVision S25-4e might just be one of the best low-cost monitor upgrades of the year.
